A Cute Poem Christina Shared at Work

Twas the night before referrals and all through the house
I was ready to post pictures with the click of my mouse

The nursery was painted and styled with care
In prep for my angel that soon would be there

I was trying to act busy, like a bee in a hive
Nervously waiting for "the call" to arrive

When all of a sudden the phone started ringing
And "hallelujah" did I then start singing

I thought I was calm: cool as a cucumber
But then I just panicked: it was a wrong number!

So after I hung up and continued to wait
When would "the call" come? I left it to fate

And then from the phone came a glorious noise
THE CALL did arrive; I lost all my poise

I was laughing; I was crying; I was walking on air
For I knew soon my angel would be in my care

Then I saw my new angel, and knew it was right
Never had I seen such a beautiful sight

To our new life together, we have opened the door,
So much love in my heart, but with room for one more

And so "the call" ended, and as I said good-bye
I thought "thank God", and thanks to CCAI

It's a MATCH!!!

Hello William & Christina!

Congratulations on your baby girl, Lian Yin Ye! (Alaina Miley Pruitt)

Sweet Baby Girl! We can't wait to meet you!!!
We love you already!

Baby In The Mail!!!

Yesterday Christina and William got the news that they have been patiently waiting for... their baby is in the mail!!!

For years I have watched Christina and William yearn and pray to hear something that would give them hope that their day would come to be parents.  I have listened and prayed over the past few years as Christina often went through an array of emotions, from hope and love to frustration and anxiety about becoming a mommy. It is something beautiful to watch as you see a woman love a child that she has never met, never looked at, and never touched.

Although I know that when "the call" comes Christina and William will be overjoyed with emotion it will be minimal to the emotion that they will feel the moment that they hold Alaina in their arms for the first time.

I love you both and I am so thrilled with excitement for you to become parents!

Love, Candice
